Harris, a manufacturer of equipment for the recycling, scrap processing and waste management industry, has announced the appointment of George Lanza as Harris’ Global Commercial director. Lanza’s responsibilities include all international activity and growth throughout Harris.
In a release, Harris, headquartered in Tyrone, Ga., notes that Lanza has extensive background in management, operations, sales and marketing. He has significant expertise with the Latin American market. He will be located in Miami.
Harris also announced that it has established a regional sales and customer service office in Bogota, Colombia. The Harris LATAM regional office will provide sales and local support throughout Latin America for Harris’ full line of products.
Harris says its LATAM office also will be involved in strategic ventures with local partners, effectively supplying aftermarket parts, sales and service.
