Harris Waste Management announced that it has completed the installation of a 1,000 ton pre-compression shear at Induspa SA in France. The Induspa is a subsidiary of SA Brion Recycling, which has purchased four Harris shears and two balers over the past 20 years.
The machine, a BSH-22-1023B, is the first of the new generation B series shears to be sold in Europe. It features the Harris tuck and fold pre-compression box, new energy-efficient hydraulics and touch-screen based control, fault diagnosis and performance monitoring system.
The machine will be supported by Europ’ Tech SA, , Harris’ exclusive distributor in France, in conjunction with Harris UK.
