Recycling equipment maker Harris Waste Management Group Inc, Peachtree City, Ga., has appointed Peter Coates as its sales manager for Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
Coates has been a Harris employee for more than 20 years, fulfilling roles in sales and marketing, most recently as the general manager for Harris’ United Kingdom and European parts and service operation in Malmesbury, United Kingdom. While continuing his responsibilities for Harris in the U.K., Coates’ expanded role will include the development of Harris’ sales in his territories, working with existing agents and widening agent coverage.

Harris’ product range includes two-ram, horizontal and vertical balers for paper, board, nonferrous metals and plastics, and shears, balers and shredders for ferrous metals.
