Midwest Scrap Management Inc., a St. Joseph, Mo.-based scrap metal company, recently purchased a Mega Shredder HS 12125 from Harris Shredders, a division of Harris Waste Management Group. The shredder is expected to be operational by this fall.
The HS 125125 is one of the new line of Harris Shredder products. It is designed to minimize maintenance and increase available production time. The shredder features a low profile design, interlocking housing fabrication for strength, oversized reject door opening outwards to expel unshreddables, massive front and back wall castings designed for impact and long life, with tie rods for additional midsection strength, heavy duty Dual Feed roll feed system with torque tube and quick release rollers.
