Harris Shredders, division of Harris Waste Management Group announces the sale of a new shredding plant to Blaze Recycling and Metals, Atlanta, GA. Blaze was founded in 1990.

“The capabilities of the shredder were just what we were looking for to insert our company in the Atlanta Market,” said Gary Blase.
The HS 98115 is only one of the new Harris Shredder line of products. Designed to minimize maintenance and increase available production time, the shredder features a low profile design, interlocking housing fabrication for strength, oversized reject door opening outwards to expel unshreddables, massive front and back wall castings designed for impact and long life, with tie rods for additional midsection strength, heavy duty Dual Feed Roll feed system with torque tube and quick release rollers.
The shredding system purchased by Blaze Recycling includes an Infeed conveyor, HS 98115 shredder with feed system, 4000 HP Schorch wound rotor motor, downstream ferrous wash separation system. An online/ off-line non-ferrous material separation system completes the plant.
