Harris Waste Management Group Inc. has hired Case Atchison as its western regional sales manager. The Georgia-based recycling equipment maker hired Atchison June 15, 2015.
In his new position, Atchison will be responsible for leading Harris sales efforts in support of product and market development for the company’s nonferrous and ferrous recycling equipment and for Harris distributors in the western region. His sales region includes the U.S. states of Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah and Wyoming; the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan; as well as Australia and New Zealand.
“We are happy to welcome Case Atchison to the Harris family,” says Doug Sebastian, vice president of Harris Waste Management Group. “His knowledge of the industry will be a great asset to Harris and its customers and dealers in his territory.”
Atchison most recently served as a sales engineering manager and engineering manager at the San Diego-based CP Group of Cos. He has 13 years of experience with project management, sales and marketing.
The Harris and IPS line of products includes HRB, Gorilla, Badger and IPS two-ram balers; Harris and IPS horizontal open-end and closed-door balers; vertical balers; Transpak PreLoad Transfer Station Compactors for waste; and a line of scrap processing equipment, including BSH and GS shears, TG and TGS balers and HS series metal shredders.
