Hanson PLC is combining its European quarry products and bricks divisions, Hanson Quarry Products Europe and Hanson Bricks Europe, to be called Hanson Building Materials Europe.
It said it combined the divisions to streamline administration, reduce overheads and improve customer service by creating a more integrated building materials business.
Hanson is one of the largest producer of aggregates in the world. The company has 400 quarries and 24 dredgers. The company produces around 220 million metric tons of rock and gravel a year. The company is headquartered in London, England.
