Now available from Hammond Manufacturing, headquartered in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, are Robust NEMA 4X stainless steel two-door cabinets. The company says the cabinets are ideal for various process and water-related industries.
The units can be mounted onto walls or equipment and are designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments installed in harsh or aggressive industrial environments. Twelve sizes are available, ranging from 24 x 42 x 8, to 42 x 60 x 12.
The cabinets are manufactured from 12-gauge 304 or 316 grade stainless steel with smooth continuously welded seams, which is designed to protect against water, solid objects and corrosive agents, the company says. The three-point door closing mechanism can be secured with a padlock to prevent unauthorized entry, Hammond notes.
The doors and enclosure body are constructed of natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish. A white powder-coated removable inner panel for mounting the equipment is supplied as standard, and the front center post can easily be removed to facilitate the panel’s removal and re-installation.
