The majority owners of Hallco Manufacturing, Olof and Mary Hallstrom, have sold their interest in the company to Mike Almond of Australia. Almond is the owner of B Mountain Industries, a transport company.
With the sale the company has changed its named to Hallco Industries Inc.
Hallco is the innovator of the live floor conveyor system, a hydraulically powered live floor conveyor system. The system was introduced more than 30 years ago.
The company operates manufacturing facilities in North Carolina, Texas, and two facilities in Oregon.
Mountain Industries, located in Australia, has been in operation since 1980. The company is involved in both trucking and rail movement. Almond has represented Hallco in Australia and Southeast Asia over the past 20 years.
Along with the change in ownership, Hallco also announced several changes to its corporate structure. They include the following: Steve Hallstrom will be serving as president of Hallco Industries Inc.; Dan Hallstrom will service as VP of Manufacturing; Jack McClave, returning as CFO; and Charles Russell has accepted the position as VP, Sales/Marketing, where he will head up the sales in the United States.
