The Aluminum Association, through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity International, awarded grants totaling $180,000 to various Habitat for Humanity affiliates.
Money for the grants was raised through aluminum can recycling programs. Last year the Aluminum Cans Build Habitat for Humanity Homes awarded grant money to 25 different affiliates of the nonprofit organization
