To align with its recently announced 2030 sustainability targets, Delaware, Ohio-based packaging producer Greif has rebranded its product circularity program to be known as “Life Cycle Services.”

The company says the initiative aligns with its 2030 sustainability targets, which were announced in December 2022, including a broader focus on advancing a circular economy, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and championing diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. Under the new Life Cycle Services brands, Greif says it has aligned these end-of-life services offered by its Global Industrial Packaging and Paper Packaging and Services businesses.
Greif’s EarthMinded brand also will be retired and rebranded under the Life Cycle Services program. The EarthMinded network facilitates the collection of intermediate bulk containers, steel and plastic drums and other industrial packaging. The plastics collected are recycled and reused in Greif’s EcoBalance line of products. The program gradually will roll out new labeling and communications as the previous brand is phased out.
Greif currently operates 19 paper fiber recycling facilities and offers complete outsourcing solutions for pulp and paper fiber procurement, transportation and administration. The company says that by branding all circularity initiatives under Life Cycle Services, it is strengthening its commitment to customers, stakeholders and suppliers.
