Houston-based Greenstar Recycling has announced partnership and jersey sponsorship of the Houston Dynamo soccer team. The agreement includes exclusive and official jersey naming rights, the first founding partnership in the new Dynamo stadium and designation as the “Official Recycling Partner” of the Dynamo.
The Greenstar Recycling logo will be featured on Dynamo game jerseys and all team apparel, beginning in the 2011 season and carrying through the 2013 season initially.
“Greenstar has partnered with the Dynamo to give recycling a new kick in Houston and highlight the importance of recycling in creating a sustainable environment for us all,” said Matt Delnick, CEO of Greenstar, at the press conference announcing the partnership. “We are thrilled to be the official partner of the Dynamo and are committed to making the Dynamo the greenest team in the league.”
Greenstar will manage all recycling and waste management services for the new Dynamo stadium. Greenstar is also title sponsor of the Dynamo’s annual Corporate Cup tournament.
The Dynamo franchise also unveiled its new jerseys, bearing the Greenstar logo, for the 2011 season at the press conference. Photos and a description of the jerseys are available at www.HoustonDynamo.com.
