GreenMan Technologies, Inc. has completed the acquisition of all tire collection operations of R&J Recycling, Co., a Minnesota based company in the business of collecting and marketing scrap tires. R&J has been in business since 1989 and currently services the northern portions of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
GreenMan will consolidate R&J's business into its existing GreenMan Technologies of Minnesota operations.
Mark Maust, GreenMan's vice president of Operations and vice president of GreenMan of Minnesota, said " We are excited about the addition of R&J to the GreenMan family. We are equally excited about retaining Jim Van Duker's (R&J's former President) services in a business development position. Jim's presence will greatly assist our further growth in Minnesota and Wisconsin".
