GreenLeaf Auto Recyclers, a supplier of recycled parts, has reached an agreement with Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting to provide its 500 franchises with electronic parts sourcing, using GreenLeaf's exclusive Rapid Parts Locating System.
"With RPL, Maaco operators can now locate, quote, and order recycled parts at their convenience," said Tim Milligan, GreenLeaf president. "The system allows viewing of parts and prices from multiple recycle yards in a single transaction, providing the competition necessary to assure the best value for the shops. E-mailing parts orders eliminates the need for them to spend valuable time making multiple phone calls on each estimate." Milligan adds, "Maaco joins a host of leading body shops and insurers using our new proprietary technology, and more are joining daily."
Said Maaco Vice Chairman Mark Martino, "Maaco is always looking for ways to provide our center operators with products and services that save time and increase profits. GreenLeaf makes the job of getting part prices and determining availability much easier than previous methods. Fast access to recycled OEM parts for all vehicle makes and models enables our franchisees to schedule repairs in a more predictable, efficient manner."
