Grasan Introduces Primary Crusher

Grasan has introduced a primary track-mounted crushing plant designed to meet specifications for high-production aggregate applications.

Plants can be custom designed depending on the customer’s requirements, according to the manufacturer. “Actually, every machine we build in this class could be one of a kind,” says Grasan Vice President Ed Eilenfeld Jr. “We engineer and build everything on the plant to our customer’s exact requirements and specifications. We’ll use any crusher—impactor or jaw—that the customer wants and go from there.”

The plant shown here uses a Hazemag 1515 APPH primary horizontal impact crusher with fully automatic hydraulic cylinder system for increased production capacity, smoother operation and more uniform products. The crusher inlet opening is 46 inches high by 60 inches wide, with 32-inch cube maximum recommended feed size and is capable of crushing up to 700 tons per hour of shot limestone. The crusher inlet hood is made of extra heavy-duty steel plate with dual chain curtains. Crusher power is supplied by two 200-hp electric motors.
