Graphic Packaging names presidents of Americas, International business units

Maggie Bidlingmaier will lead Graphic Packaging’s Americas business unit, while Joe Yost will lead the International business unit.

Graphic Packaging Holding Co., a packaging firm based in Atlanta, has appointed Maggie Bidlingmaier as the company’s executive vice president and president of the Americas business unit. Bidlingmaier most recently served as president of Performance Solutions for Wichita, Kansas-based Invista, a subsidiary of Koch Industries, where she led several global businesses within the flooring, apparel and airbag fiber segments.

Prior to that, she was vice president of surfaces for Invista. She also served in several positions in global sales and marketing for Avery Dennison Corp. before her time at Invista.

According to a news release from Graphic Packaging, the company has appointed Joe Yost, its previous executive vice president and president of the Americas, to serve as Graphic Packaging’s executive vice president and president of the International business unit based in Brussels. In his new position, Yost will be responsible for converting operations outside of the Americas, including Graphic Packaging’s businesses in EMEA, Australia and New Zealand.

“Joe has been instrumental in positioning our Americas business as a leader in the fiber-based packaging segment, and his prior experience in leading our European business will prove valuable as we integrate the AR Packaging acquisition into our global portfolio,” Doss adds. “I am excited to have someone with Joe’s track record of achievement moving into this critical leadership position.”
