Granutech-Saturn Systems, Grand Prairie, Texas, will debut its new MAC Magnum logger at the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) Conference Nov. 6-9, 2013, in Phoenix at Booth No. 502.
The MAC Magnum features a continuous-rotation crane with what Granutech describes as the longest reach of any logger/baler in the industry at 27 feet 4 inches. The crane also has a load capacity of 5,800 pounds at full reach.
Other features include an in-cab Ican control system and a 20-foot, high-production chamber with variable density options, ranging from 30 to 80 pounds per foot. The machine produces a 40-inch-by-26-inch-by-variable-length log/bale.
