Anthony Pratt, founder of Australia-based Pratt Industries and Visy Recycling, will help host an open house at his company’s newest United States paper mill.
Pratt and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal are both publicized as being present for an “official grand opening” event for the Pratt Industries mill.
The Shreveport paperboard mill has been configured to operate with recovered fiber feedstock, following the model at existing Pratt Industries mills.
The new $160 million mill, located near the port of Shreveport on the Red River, will host the Grand Opening event starting at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15. Those attending have been invited to a luncheon as well as a tour of the mill.
