Los Angeles-based Golden West Packaging Group LLC has named Brad Jordan as its new president. Golden West consists of five packaging companies--Fleetwood-Fibre Packaging & Graphics; Heritage Solutions; Capital Corrugated; Package One; and Packaging Innovators Corp.--plus one sheet feeder firm known as Cal Sheets. Golden West operates from six facilities and offices in California, plus one each in China and Mexico.
Jordan previously was president of one of the Golden West companies, Fleetwood-Fibre Packaging & Graphics. He has more than 24 years of experience in the packaging industry.
“Brad is a great leader, has broad experience in packaging, and has compiled an excellent track record of bringing value to customers and employees,” says Golden West CEO Steve Strickland.
Jordan says, “Our Golden West team is focused on creating world-class operations that will deliver high-end customer service and support, high-impact design and printing solutions, manufacturing excellence, engaged and empowered employees, and environmentally sound and safe operations our stakeholders deserve.”
Golden West also has announced additional executive appointments, including David Van Swol as chief financial officer; Jerry Roberts as senior vice president of operations; Pat Montoya as manager of systems operations; and Debbie Manz-Slaman as director of human resources.
Golden West was formed in 2017 by Lindsay Goldberg LLC, a New York-based private investment firm managing approximately $13 billion of equity capital in partnership with families, founders and management teams.
