Great Lakes Recycling (GLR), Roseville, Mich., has unveiled a new website that the company says aims to show visitors how accessible and enticing recycling can be.
“Most people want to recycle, but they fear it’s going to be too expensive and time-consuming,” says Jeff Wiewiura, chief operations officer of GLR. “Through this new website, we empower families and businesses to recycle by breaking down the barriers of confusion and letting them know how easy GLR makes the process.”
“When it comes to discarding certain materials, most people don’t realize they’re actually throwing away cash,” says Steve Kent, procurement manager at GLR. “On the home page of our website, we cover all the materials GLR buys, so consumers are better informed about how they can save money as well as the environment.”
