Global Shred, Indianapolis, has been recognized as one of the 2004 Indiana Growth 100 Award winners for the third consecutive year, according to a release from the company.
The Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, a division of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, presents the awards at its annual banquet.
Nominees for the Growth 100 Award must be privately held Indiana businesses that have at least $500,000 in annual sales or have raised a significant amount of funding. This year, the Johnson Center selected 88 companies for the honor.
David Kantor, CEO of Global Shred, is proud of his company for earning the distinction.
“We started out six years ago in my spare bedroom with one desk, one chair, one phone, one computer and one truck,” he says. “Today, we are one of the fastest growing high-potential private companies in Indiana.”
Kantor sees the award as a positive sign for the company’s future. “This speaks volumes to all of our team members,” he says. “We’re pretty hell-bent and determined to be the market leader in this industry.”
