Global Recycling Appoints Account Executive

Steve Nedelman joins company.

Global Recycling has announced that Steve Nedelman has joined the company as an account executive.

Nedelman brings more than 30 years of experience working with leaders in the recycling industry to the company. He spent more than 20 years at Steiner-Liff Iron & Metal/PSC Metals, where he served in several capacities, including vice president of nonferrous. When Steiner-Liff was acquired by Philip Service Corp. in 1997, Nedelman became the director of nonferrous, overseeing sales of shredder residue for both the U.S. and Canadian markets and sales of all nonferrous metals from multiple operations throughout the Southeast. He also was instrumental in opening a greenfield scrap facility in Nashville, Tenn., later to be known as Metal Management-Nashville.

 

Nedelman is a longstanding member of ISRI, having served as co-chair of ISRI’s Copper and Brass Committee and as a lecturer on scrap plastics.

 

He lives in Nashville with Ilene, his wife of 28 years. He has two daughters, Samantha and Jamie.

 

Global Recycling is based in Charlotte, N.C., and also has a facility in Little Rock, Ark.
