Global Environmental Services has announced its Austin, Texas, facility, which it opened in September 2011, has received recommendation for certification for the full suite of ISO standards. The certifications include ISO 9001:2008 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OSHAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety).
“We are very proud to be able to provide the best recycling and asset recovery services to our customers from both of our full service recycling centers in (Georgetown) Kentucky and Texas. To have the Texas facility certified to the ISO Standards is a proud day for GES, and it shows our continued dedication to our customers,” Kenny Gravitt, GES president and CEO, says.
The Austin facility measures nearly 54,000 square feet. GES' Georgetown, Ky., facility has been ISO certified for more than one year.
