Gleason Names Winkle Exclusive Supplier of Factory-Authorized Repair

Gleason Reel Corp., Mayville, Wis., has named Winkle Industries, Alliance, Ohio, its exclusive supplier of factory-authorized repair for its complete line of industrial cable and hose reels and festoon and PowerTrak systems.

By assigning its repair services to Winkle, Gleason is able to focus its facilties on the manufacturing of new products. Winkle is also the master distributor for Gleason repair parts and maintains an inventory of the components needed to repair worn and damaged Gleason products.

Mark Volansky, director of sales for Winkle, says Winkle’s experience in remanufacturing and refurbishment for the steel industry was a key factor in Gleason’s decision to name Winkle as its exclusive supplier of factory-authorized repair.
