The United Kingdom-based GFG Alliance has moved forward in a previously announced process to realign and rebrand some of its metals production and recycling operations.
The company’s website indicates scrap facilities that had formerly operated under the Liberty OneSteel Recycling name are now working under the InfraBuild Recycling brand.
The former OneSteel electric arc furnace (EAF) steel mills in Australia now carry the InfraBuild Steel nameplate
According to the updated website, “InfraBuild Recycling specializes in the safe handling, collection and processing of more than 1.4 million metric tons of ferrous and nonferrous scrap metal every year, distributing it to InfraBuild Steel’s Australian steel mills and international customers.”
Adds the firm, “InfraBuild Recycling operates nationally from 22 locations in Australia as well as from three in Asia, and has six trading offices in key supply and sales market regions across the globe.”
In January of this year, GFG announced it would place its aluminum producing operations under the Alvance Aluminum Group umbrella.
