Gerdau Ameristeel Corp. has reached agreements with the United Steelworkers at its steel mills in Beaumont, Texas; St. Paul, Minn.; and Wilton, Iowa. The contracts are effective this month, and run through March 2010, July 2010 and September 2010, respectively.
Negotiations continue at the company's steel mills in Calvert City Kentucky; Joliet, Illinois; Sand Springs, Oklahoma; and Whitby, Canada.
