Gensco introduces Dynaset HMG Pro Series hydraulic magnet generators

Toronto-based Gensco Equipment, a provider of attachments and machinery for the scrap metal and demolition industries since 1919, has introduced the Dynaset HMG Pro Series hydraulic magnet generators.

With a power range of from 6 kilowatts to 40 kilowatts, Dynaset’s product line has a solution to suit a variety of customers, whether they are using a 28-inch magnet on a small truck-mounted crane or miniexcavator or a 72-inch magnet on a 50-ton material handler.

Gensco says it was the first company to bring hydraulic magnetic generator technology to North America in 1994 with its exclusive distribution of the Dynaset systems.

With no changes to the hydraulic requirements and the footprint of the generators, Gensco says it has made improvements on the electrical controls to speed up material handling while at the same time reducing down time and facilitating fault recognition when a problem does arise.

Some of the improved features of the Dynaset HMG PRO models include:

• improved drop times that are up to two-times faster;
• proprietary technology and a patented design for dissipating the magnetic field quickly and efficiently;
• solid state controls with simple components and less parts;
• an installation kit provided that includes a hydraulic valve kit specific for installation on your machine;
• a modular design, meaning all generators regardless of power use the same control card;
• a digital display shows fault codes for immediate notification without troubleshooting and diagnostics; and
• 115-volt AC power auxiliary sockets provide power for lights and tool.

Gensco offers its line of CANMAG magnets and can supply a complete system for magnet duty on any hydraulic machine from a skid loader to a material handler. CANMAG cast-steel-cased magnets are available in 28-, 36-, 40-, 46-, 52-, 59- and 68-inch sizes, with larger sizes available upon request.
