Genesis Attachments, Superior, Wis., has introduced its Versi Pro 15 for excavators in the 28,000-pound weight class. According to the company, the new attachment allows contractors to ramp up the versatility of their-midsized machines.
The Versi Pro 15 offers modular-design jaw sets to maximize machine use and efficiency, according to a Genesis product release. Jaws are available in two configurations: shear and concrete cracking. The company says they can be switched out in as little as 10 minutes using standard tools and that both jaw sets feature 360-degree rotation.
“Due to its moderate size and easy mobility, there seems to be a growing interest in this class of excavator,” says Steve Letko, research and development manager for Genesis Attachments. “By coupling that size machine with the advantages offered by the Versi Pro 15, contractors in markets such as demolition, lighter scrap recycling, and so on, can dramatically raise their level of onsite efficiency.”
Genesis says the Versi Pro 15’s shear jaw features all bolt-on components, including the same patented bolt-on piercing tip utilized in Genesis’ larger XP Shear line. Additionally, both the shear jaw and the concrete cracker jaw offer Genesis’ patented pivot geometry design.
