Genesis Attachments, a Superior, Wis.-based attachment manufacturer for the recycling and demolition industries, has announced in a company press release that David Palvere has been named the new director of business development.
Palvere is a 10-year veteran at Genesis and will be responsible for leading and directing new business opportunities for the company, developing international sales efforts, and driving new product and new market development, the company says.
“This is an outstanding opportunity for me to contribute to our efforts to grow, diversify and, hopefully, realize a lot of untapped potential,” Palvere says. “I have worn a number of hats in my ten years with the company, but none that has intrigued me or promised to challenge me as much as this one. I am certainly grateful for the confidence shown in me and look forward to getting down to business.”
According to Mats Ceder, Genesis Vice President/General Manager, their selection of Palvere was based on a number of factors.“This position calls for an individual who can provide strong leadership and direction in developing new business opportunities,” he says. “David has already demonstrated those strengths over the years. We are certain that he is the right person to tackle this new role as we move forward and make inroads into new markets.”
