Genesis has appointed Tony Craig to head up its new Genesis Commercial Capital’s RDW (Recycling/Disposal/Waste) division.
In making the announcement, Genesis says that it has partnered with Tony Craig to expand the company’s reach into the vendor and equipment seller's markets. Over the past 15 years, Genesis has committed resources and bank lines to develop new and existing lease programs for equipment sellers to have on line for their client's acquisitions.
Genesis adds that new developments in the recycling industry have dictated the need for alternative sources of financing. In announcing the new division, Genesis notes that in many cases traditional lending sources such as banks are not familiar with much of the equipment used in the recycling industry and are not always comfortable lending in this economic climate. According to Genesis, these traditional financing sources have the tendency to scrutinize financing packages for their clients in this industry.
Parent company GeNESIS Capital Leasing, headquartered in Irvine, Calif., was founded in 2000. The company specializes in providing equipment financing and leasing to small and medium-sized companies across the country.
