“This facility will allow us to react better to customer requests by having decision makers, support personnel and operations under the same roof,” says Joe Forth, general manager, “It also gives us the flexibility to scale up production as the economy improves with plenty of room for capacity expansion.”
Attachment manufacturing occupies almost 85,000 of the 420,000-square-foot facility. The remainder of the facility is dedicated to manufacturing equipment for Doosan Infracore Portable Power allowing both businesses to realize benefits of economies of scale from supplier and logistics provider rationalization, the company says.
