Willie Gieser, founder and president of Allshred Services Inc., a Toledo, Ohio-based document destruction company, has been chosen as one of the four finalists to represent northwest Ohio in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. Allshred is one of the largest shredding and document destruction companies in the U.S.
As one of the four finalists, Geiser will be competing in EY’s regional awards program that will be taking place in Detroit June 9th.
As a finalists in the Central Great Lakes Region, Allshred is one step away from Ernst & Young’s national awards ceremony.
“I am quite humbled and honored to be nominated,” Geiser said. “While it is perceived as an individual recognition, all the employees at Allshred deserve the recognition.
Geiser was nominated by Sanford Lubin, publisher of the Toledo Business Journal, a magazine serving the business community in Northwest Ohio.
As for the reason he nominated Geiser, Lubin noted that he has been impressed with the growth and progress the company has made. “When I saw what Willie had done it was obvious,” Lubin added.
Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award has been given out for 17 years.
