The electronics recycling company Global Electric Electronic Processing Inc. (GEEP), based in Barrie, Ontario, has signed a partnership deal with Rogers Centre to develop a cell phone collection and recycling program at the Toronto building. The Rogers Centre is the home of Major League Baseball’s Toronto Blue Jays.
Through the partnership arrangement, GEEP will locate a number of cell phone collection bins throughout Rogers Centre where people can deposit their old cell phones.
Cell phones that are collected at Rogers Centre will be forwarded to GEEP’s headquarters in Barrie for processing.
