Garb Oil & Power Corp. announced that it has formed a consortium with Soil Remediation Inc., Steel Valley Design Inc., LMW Holding Co. Inc., Odyssey Environmental LLC, Robert D. Carcelli Inc., Liberian Holding Corp. Inc., and Three C's Distributing Inc., to build 10 electronic scrap recycling facilities in the eastern United States. The value of the plants, according to Garb Oil, is estimated to be around $135 million. The name of the company will be eWaste USA Inc.
The plants are expected to be built over the next two years. The goal of the operation is to process a total of 300,000 metric tons of electronic scrap per year using Garb’s ClosedCycle technology.
