Galbreath, a brand of Charlotte, North Carolina-based Wastequip, has unveiled a new controller for roll-off and hook lift hoists called the Power Tower Pro. The new product includes side and backup camera systems with a 7-inch cab display to improve operator visibility as well as an updated wiring package Galbreath says makes it easier and less time-consuming for engineering teams to create truck layouts.

“By directly addressing changing market needs and improving nearly all aspects of hoist performance and durability, our new Power Tower Pro is evidence of the widely held industry belief that no one knows or serves the hoist market like Galbreath,” Wastequip Director of Product Management Nick Daddabbo says
Galbreath says optional systems allow operators to control several aspects of the machine from inside the cab through Controller Area Network integration, including object detection and warning, steering position sensors that can be overlaid on the cabin display screen to show reverse trajectory and proximity to objects. The FutureTouch display gives operators the option to steer with one finger while accessing diagnostic messages, the load indicator and weight information. According to Galbreath, these additional features improve safety and can save time.
