Galamba Metals Group LLC, Kansas City, Mo., has acquired Outer Road Recycling, formerly known as Calverts Scrap Yard, in Boonville, Mo.
Acquiring the Boonville recycling facility improves the Galamba Group’s ability to better serve the central region of Missouri, according to the company. The yard will provide roll-off container services and support the company’s car crushing crews to serve regional customers.
“Our business has been around for 30-plus years and we are glad to be a part of the Galamba Metals Group,” says former owner Gene Beach, who will now focus on scrap purchasing. “It’s good for our customers to know that we are still the right place to bring their scrap,” he adds. Beach’s daughter Donna Leonard will continue to work at the yard as office manager and scale operator.
Galamba Metals Group LLC, is a full-service metal recycler with a regional network of 12 locations, mobile crushing operations, and trucking services throughout the Midwest. The company has been in business since 1977 and can be found on the Web at www.galambagroup.com.
