
FV Evans, A New Zealand-based manufacturer of machinery, has announced the worldwide release of the EvaShred Panther, a large general purpose shredding machine for the processing of scrap materials including tires, electronic scrap, secure document destruction, wood pallets and other recyclable waste streams, according to the company.
The new shredder is driven by two 40-horsepower motors and has dimensions of 14 feet long, 10 feet high and weighs almost 4 tons, according to the company. Processing Solutions International, Inc. (PSI) is the exclusive distributor in North America.
“The potential impact this uniquely designed shredder will have in the marketplace is something we are excited to be a part of,” says marketing manager Scott Ferry of PSI.
