Titan Technologies announces that Ally Investments has contracted with Lockwood Greene Engineering & Construction, to obtain an air permit for the construction of a tire recycling facility in Port Arthur, Texas.
Titan Technologies, Inc. and Lockwood Greene are working jointly in order to hasten the assembly of basic data for the TCEQ forms required in order to file for an air permit. Lockwood Greene estimates the time required to obtain this permit is between 3 to 6 months; however Titan and Ally are determined to lessen the time required. Ally Investments has readily available funding for the total project once the air permit is granted, which includes a $1.6 million licensing fee for Titan.
The Titan Technologies, Inc. facility will be located in Port Arthur, Tex., and will recycle 300 tons/day of shredded tires.
Upon completion of the Port Arthur location, Ally Investments has agreed to start its second facility in Texas, Oklahoma or Mississippi.
