Fund Established for Harris’ Musselwhite

Long-time Harris employee survived by wife, two children.

A memorial fund has been established to benefit the family of Dwain Musselwhite, a long-time employee of Harris Waste Management Group Inc.’s Cordele, Ga., facility, who passed away in July. Musselwhite succumbed after a long bout against cancer.

“Dwain was a very likeable, knowledgeable, well known and respected person among his peers and out customers throughout his 35 years of service,” says Harris executive vice president Doug Sebastian. “He will be missed very much by many people.”

Musselwhite was hired as a draftsman for the recycling equipment company’s catalog in 1968, after graduating from Crisp County High School; the Massey Technical Institute in Jacksonville, Fla.; and Middle Georgia College in Cochran, Ga. He became a manager in the parts department in 1985.

He is survived by his wife Linda, son Clint and daughter Lydia, who all reside in Cordele.

Donations to the memorial fund in Musselwhite’s memory can be sent to: Dwain Musselwhite Memorial Fund, c/o Harris Waste Management Group Inc., P.O. Box 998, 315 W. 12th St., Cordele, GA 31015.
