Japan's Fuji Xerox Co. plans to start recycling its products sold in the Pacific Rim by the third quarter of this year. To do that the company announced it will build a plant in Thailand.
The plant will be able to process 30,000 photocopiers and 400,000 toner cartridges a year to produce recyclable materials.
The plant will take in material from Thailand, South Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Australia. Fuji Xerox hopes to launch recycling operations in China later.
