Fuchs, a German manufacturer of material handling equipment, including specialized models for the metals recycling sector, has unveiled the MHL340 and MHL350—debut models of its new G-Series at Bauma 2025 in Munich. The company, part of Connecticut-based Terex Corp., says the new models combine greater efficiency with advanced digital integration.

“The MHL340 is among our top international models for recycling and scrap handling, while the MHL350 is one of the fastest and most precise loading machines in its performance class,” says Dominik Vierkotten, vice president of Lifting and Handling at Terex. “With the G-Series generation of these models, Fuchs is redefining standards in operator comfort and efficiency.”

Fuchs says the G-Series introduces a new display interface to the company’s material handling equipment, offering a live view of the work area and intuitive workflows. It enables operators to control sensitivity, speed and joystick configurations to suit personal preferences, providing what Fuchs calls a smooth, controlled and intuitive handling experience.

Fuchs says the optional “Virtual Wall” enables operators to set height and reach limits directly via a display monitor, enhancing precision and safety in sensitive environments. Safety is further supported by a high-definition camera system with optional artificial intelligence- (AI-) based person detection, providing all-around visibility and real-time awareness on the job site. The company says additional support is easily accessed by scannable QR codes on the machine, which deliver mobile-accessible operating instructions and troubleshooting tips, accessible from any smartphone.

Both models offer increased load capacities, the company says, adding that the feature allows for faster and more productive work cycles in demanding applications. The MHL350 G has further been enhanced with an extended reach of up to 17 meters (55 feet, 9 inches), providing operators more coverage with less repositioning.

To assist return on investment, Fuchs says it has an upgraded digital platform that includes an enhanced web and smartphone app, enabling real-time telemetry, maintenance tracking and performance analytics. New service packages, based on actual machine hours, offer full transparency and predictable maintenance costs through early detection of anomalies to help reduce downtime and extend machine lifespan.

“With the launch of the G-Series, Fuchs is once again at the forefront of innovation in material handling,” Vierkotten says. “The strong interest at Bauma confirms that the industry is ready for the next step in intelligent machine design—and Fuchs is leading that charge.”
