Frontline International receives award for waste oil management system

Ohio-based firm wins U.K. innovation award.

Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio-based Frontline International has received a bronze award in the Kitchen Innovation Challenge at the Commercial Kitchen 2016 show, held in June 2016 in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Frontline International designs, manufactures and distributes equipment to manage fresh and waste oil in restaurants and other food service establishments. The company’s hands-free waste oil management system was recognized by the judges in the U.K.

At the show, an “Innovation Challenge Gallery” showcased innovative product and technology launches in the food service industry during the previous 12 months. Products that received the most votes at the end of day one were invited to pitch a panel of judges who would then determine the award winners. Frontline International’s waste oil management systems—distributed by Bensons Products Ltd. in the U.K.—were invited to the challenge and won the bronze based on the increased safety and productivity provided to restaurant employees.

Frontline International’s waste oil management systems are designed to dramatically minimize employee contact with oil. An optional electronic monitoring system measures oil usage, monitors filtration and tracks rebates for a single store or across all stores in a chain.
