Umicore, Belgian based non-ferrous metals company could restart its zinc smelter in Auby, France, this week if a strike by workers is resolved.
According to a report in Reuters, the plant, which accounts for close to half the company’s 500,000 metric tons of recycled zinc output last year, halted since last week due to a strike by plant workers over a decline in bonus payments.
