Freightways Snaps Up Another Company

Freightways Ltd. has purchased the business and assets of Document Destruction and Paper Recycling Pty Ltd., a Brisbane, Australia- based document destruction operation. This purchase follows closely on the acquisition of the Shred-X document destruction business Freightways acquired at the beginning of this month.

DDPR’s operations will be merged into those of Shred-X, strengthening the presence of Shred-X in the Queensland, Australia market.

Freightways acquired DDPR of A$3.5 million (US$3 million). The acquisition, as well as the earlier purchases, are steps that Freightways is taking to strengthen its information management business in Australia.
