Pulp prices will include prices in the U.S. for northern bleached softwood kraft, southern bleached softwood kraft, northern bleached hardwood kraft, southern bleached hardwood kraft, and bleached eucalyptus kraft. The price in Europe for NBSK is also offered. NBSK, used in printing and writing papers, tissue, packaging papers, newsprint, and other applications, is the benchmark pulp grade.

Publication grade prices will include newsprint, hi-brite, supercalendered, 40-lb coated #5, and 60-lb coated #3. Uncoated free-sheet grades include 50-lb offset rolls and 20-lb cut size. Newsprint, hi-brite, and SC-A are groundwood grades used mostly for newspapers, circulars, and newspaper insert advertising. The coated grades are used for magazines, catalogs, and high-end advertising.

Forest2Market provides Forestweb stumpage prices for pine pulpwood, pine chip-n-saw, pine saw timber, hardwood pulpwood, and hardwood saw timber for three southern regions -- west south, mid-south, and east south. Stumpage refers to the price of timber before it has been harvested.

Forestweb's log prices are available through Pacific Rim Wood Market Report, a Forestweb publication. Prices for 14 separate log grades are covered, including U.S., Canada, and export.
