Forestweb Inc. today announced it was entering 2004 with its client base successfully converted from an individual subscription-based newsletter service to its flagship industry intelligence hub -- iiHub. The success of this conversion, the rapid adoption of iiHub and other iiSolutions and the acquisition of The Reel Time Report accounted for the company's double-digit growth in 2003, according to a press release.
NewsBeat Weekly Report, once a stand-alone product, is now incorporated with the iiHub. Rami Ghandour, CEO Forestweb, explained, "Our corporate clients actually helped us redirect our focus to iiHub. The rapid acceptance of iiHub technology and innovation pushed us to direct our focus from a content-only newsletter service to our robust value-added iiHub. We started the conversion in mid-2003 and launched the improved iiHub in early January."
iiHub is one of the industry intelligence (ii) services available through Forestweb. The company clims its tools are designed to solve information requirements at every level. Forestweb's iiSolution suite of services include iiHub, iiFeed, iiDirect, iiAnalyst, iiPublisher.
Rounding out a year of positive growth and expansion, Forestweb announced in September the acquisition of The Reel Time Report. Published by industry experts Ross Hay-Roe and Verle Sutton, The Reel Time Report, offering expert analysis of publication-grade paper markets, is now an integral part of Forestweb's content, according to the release. Publication-grade papers include newsprint and coated and uncoated grades used in magazine, catalog and direct mail.
