Los Angeles-based Forestweb Inc. (http://www.forestweb.com/) today announced the addition of Bill Bradley, a partner at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP to Forestweb's Advisory Board.
Bradley chairs the Timber and Forest Products group at Sutherland, one of the nation's leading tax law firms for more than 70 years. The timber and forest products group traces its origin to the 1930s, when major Southern timberland owners and investors began engaging Sutherland to respond to the emerging rules of the federal Internal Revenue Code. Sutherland now has more than 350 lawyers and represents private and institutional timber owners and forest products companies with timber holdings throughout the country.
"Large companies in the forest products industry have begun to move away from vertical integration by divesting timberlands assets," Rami Ghandour, Forestweb's CEO, said. "Bill has a unique understanding of how these changes are affecting the timberlands holding processes. He also has a long history of providing advice concerning investment in timberlands and related properties for different entities that participate in various aspects of the industry. His expertise and advice will help Forestweb bring more value to the industry."
Forestweb is the primary source of news for investors, consultants, TIMOs, managers and others with interests in forest industry issues. The Forestweb Advisory Board members represent the breadth of interests within forest products, including timberlands, wood products, pulp and paper, consulting, engineering, technology, research and development and end-users.Latest from Recycling Today
