FMS North America adds director of recycling logistics

Scott Taylor will work out of FMS' Vancouver, British Columbia, office, leading North American recycling activities.

Fr. Meyer’s Sohn (FMS) North America has announced the hire of Scott Taylor as the forwarding company’s director of recycling logistics.

Taylor has experience in purchasing, marketing and shipping of recycling products across North America and the world.

FMS North America is a unit of FMS, a Hamburg, Germany-headquartered family-owned global forwarding company. Its North American division has U.S. locations in Newport Beach, California; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Reading, Pennsylvania; and Spring, Texas.

The company says recycling has been a significant part of its activities for decades. The addition of Taylor will help FMS to continue to grow its presence in recycling.

“We are proud to have been a part of the industry’s growth and development over this time,” says Tomas Jonson, FMS North America president, of the recycling industry. “As the industry is now taking a turn toward increased specialization and sophistication, we are ready to play an even larger role.”

Working out of its Vancouver, British Columbia, office, Taylor will lead FMS recycling activities in North America. He will help grow and maintain its relationships while introducing new ones, Jonson says. He also will work internally to develop operations, tools and services to best suit customers’ needs.

Taylor can be reached by phone at 201-600-5504 and by email at scott.taylor@fms-logistics.com.
