FleetMind
FleetMind, Montreal, announced it has kicked off June’s National Safety Month with its Public Safety Heroes summer contest.
Through the Public Safety Heroes contest, FleetMind customers can nominate waste drivers who embody the following characteristics:
- Road awareness
- Quick-thinking to avoid accidents and protect other motorists
- A safe and consistent driving record
The safest driver in each company will be awarded a $100 gift certificate and the grand-prize winner will be awarded with $1,000 and a certificate recognizing them as FleetMind’s 2020 Public Safety Hero.
“We are excited to bring back the Public Safety Heroes program,” says Don Diego Padilla, vice president of sales for FleetMind. “With waste truck vehicles accounting for not an insignificant percentage of all vehicle accidents and fatalities, there is a need for a greater push towards safe driving in our industry.”
