Federal International Recycling and Waste Solutions LLC, Clayton, Missouri, has acquired Green Planet 21’s recycling assets at 4300 Diplomacy Rd. in Fort Worth, Texas. The additional capacity will enable Federal to better serve its customers and suppliers in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan market, the company says.
“We are pleased to have been able to work with Steve Sutta and his team at Green Planet 21 on this deal,” says Sam Still, president and CEO at Federal. “This acquisition positions us for future growth in this market and is the first step as Federal looks to increase our footprint throughout North America.”
Federal International is an independent recycling company that has been recycling since 1914. The company currently operates seven recycling plants as well as brokerage and waste solutions departments, providing all phases of recycling and waste services to manufacturing, retail and residential customers.
According to Green Planet 21's website, the facility in Fort Worth is equipped to provide shredding services and cost-effective logistics and recycling solutions in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. The plant has a series of three 150-horsepower shredders to provide secure destruction services for documents, medical and legal records and many types of manufactured products.
